What we're about...

Winthrop Youth Soccer is a not for profit entity to promote the game of soccer in
Winthrop, Massachusetts. Our kids particiate in organized soccer at the town, regional,
and countly levels in order to learn from friendly competition and fellowship.
In the Fall we organize our In-Town program. This program consists of a co-ed 'Instruction
program for grades 1&2, as well as seperate 'Junior' (grades 3-5) and 'Senior' (grades 6-8)
divisions for our boys and girls. During the Winter we take our kids 'indoor' to participate in
'Indoor Soccer' at the U12, U14, and U16 levels. Over the past 2 seasons we have also entered
teams in local Futsal (5 a side) soccer leagues. For Spring competition we participate in
the ECYSA (Essex County Youth Soccer Association), where we also enter teams at the U12, U14, U16
and U19 levels. Along with our Spring traveling program we also have a Spring In-House program
for all of our younger athletes that want to learn and grow in the sport.
This program caters to grades k-3.
